Coordinated Control and Performance Optimization of Thermal Power Energy Storage Combined Frequency Regulation System
-
Abstract
A joint frequency regulation test scheme based on coordinated control strategy is designed in this article to address the problems of lagging frequency regulation response, insufficient climbing speed, limited energy storage system capacity, and poor stability of isolated network operation in thermal power units. Select a 600 MW thermal power unit and a 10 MW/20 MWh lithium battery energy storage system as the test objects, build a joint frequency regulation test platform, conduct static, dynamic, and comparative tests, and verify the effectiveness of the coordinated control strategy. The experiment shows that all indicators meet the assessment standards for power grid frequency regulation.
