Path and Practical Exploration for the Intelligent Upgrade of Operation and Maintenance Equipment in Large Wind Farms under New Energy Scenarios
-
Abstract
The global energy transition is driving the wind power industry toward greater scale and complexity. Traditional operation and maintenance equipment struggle to meet the demands for efficient and reliable operation of largescale wind farms. This paper addresses the key challenges in wind power O&M within new energy applications, analyzes the current state of equipment development and the necessity for upgrades, identifies three critical upgrade areas—inspection, diagnosis, and management—and establishes a layered, progressive approach integrating perception and transmission, algorithmic models, and scenario adaptation. Practical validation has been conducted for both onshore and complex-scenario wind farms, resulting in a actionable intelligent upgrade solution.
