Abstract:
A distributed power conversion architecture consisting of 16 PV inputs and 8 MPPT tracking units is designed for the application environment of 100 kW photovoltaic grid connected inverters facing rapid irradiation fluctuations, string mismatch, and coexistence of weak grids. The research results indicate that this scheme achieves a relatively balanced match between efficiency, lifespan, cost, and power quality, and is suitable for scenarios such as industrial and commercial rooftops, power plant edge areas, and scenarios with large fluctuations in grid impedance.
