Abstract: The article summarizes the key parameters for selecting outlet circuit breakers for large capacity generator sets, elaborates on the causes and hazards of fracture flashover faults, analyzes the problems in the coordination between outlet circuit breaker selection and fracture flashover protection for large capacity generator sets, and proposes corresponding optimization measures aimed at improving the overall integrity and reliability of the main circuit protection for generator sets.
