Research on Wide Area Relay Protection

  • 摘要: 继电保护作为电网安全的首道防线,其技术发展对电力系统稳定运行至关重要。随着电网规模的不断扩大和运行方式的日益复杂,传统继电保护在应对跨区域故障和适应系统运行方式变化方面面临严峻挑战。为提升电网保护的可靠性,广域继电保护技术应运而生。文章探讨了广域继电保护在信息域划分方法、保护系统结构分类及故障判别算法方面的技术特点,旨在为构建适应现代电网需求的保护体系提供新的技术路径。

     

    Abstract: As the first line of defense for power grid safety, the technological development of relay protection is crucial for the stable operation of the power system. With the continuous expansion of the power grid scale and the increasingly complex operation mode, traditional relay protection faces severe challenges in dealing with cross regional faults and adapting to changes in system operation mode. To enhance the reliability of power grid protection, wide area relay protection technology has emerged. The article explores the technical characteristics of wide area relay protection in terms of information domain division methods, protection system structure classification, and fault discrimination algorithms, aiming to provide a new technical path for building a protection system that meets the needs of modern power grids.
